I don’t know about you, but sometimes it can seem a little difficult to keep up momentum during those long winter days. The plunging temperatures make it much harder to spend as much time outdoors and it’s easy to find yourself in just a little bit of a rut. I’m sure we’ve all been there at one point or another.
When there are long hours spent indoors, it becomes more important than ever to have plenty of activities on hand to keep little minds active. This is the very reason why we put together some handy activity sheets to incorporate the winter season into your homeschool!
These activity sheets are mostly aimed at the younger children, but we think the ‘Book Review’ and word search is something any older kids can enjoy too!
Activity Sheets available (click on title to download PDF):
A fun way to improve fine motor skills, number and color identification, all while building on their ability to focus.
Plenty of books get read during those winter months, so why not make it even more educational by having your child write out their thoughts about each book?
A little something to help your child build on their number skills and have a little bit of wintery fun!
This activity sheet will help with spelling, vocabulary, as well as further improving working memory and problem solving skills!
