More Resources for Learning About the Human Body in Your Homeschool

If you would like to go deeper into your study of human anatomy, here are some of our favorite resources to use alongside your free printables.

Curriculum

Hands-down our favorite science curriculum for human anatomy comes from Apologia. For elementary and middle school learners, you can’t beat the Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology course. The text is colorful and engaging, full of hands-on activities, and points kids back to their Creator in every lesson. Your children will walk away with a sense of how awe-inspiring the intricacies of the human body are and how wonderfully God has knit each person together in His own image. Don’t miss the accompanying Junior Notebooking Journal for kindergarten through second grade or the Notebooking Journal for third through sixth grade.

For high school student’s Apologia’s Advanced Biology course provides a comprehensive curriculum for students who have already completed a year of high school biology and chemistry. Whether your student is destined for a career in a medical field or is simply fascinated by the inner workings of the human body, this course will give them a complete overview of the major body systems integrated with a Christian worldview. Lab exercises and tests provide a complete year of high school study.
