Jean Burk is a mom of 2 homeschool graduates and founder of College Prep Genius. Like so many homeschool families, Jean and her husband had no money for college. When she discovered that high test scores could unlock free college for her children, she began researching how to help her children ace the tests. She discovered that the tests can be taught. They are logic tests, not IQ tests. Her strategies were so successful that other families begged her to teach their children what she had learned. College Prep Genius was born.
Now Jean travels the country sharing her story and helping other families access money for college. She believes there are no bad test takers. Any student can improve their score by strengthening their critical thinking skills and learning the patterns and strategies used by test makers. Not only do these skills benefit students when it comes to test taking, but these same critical thinking skills will benefit your child in every area of life.
